Favor, a while back i asked about doing a top end rebuild as a newbie. Someone posted a link to a machine shop that does kits which you mail out and includes boring out, providing new rings and gaskets. Unfortunately, I can not find it. I think it was like G&H machine. Any help in finding link would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. It was G&H discount. Anyone ever use their top end Rebuild services? I am going to pull the Top end on My 07 TRX400FA this weekend ( as when I purchased this summer, I did not realize the prior owner had stripped one of the head bolts, so I have tear it all the way down to install a helicore) and figured since I have it all tore down, I should do the rebuild and this seemed like a good option and price.

yes I have used them numerous times and referred others to them , you can have them do the head at the same time as the jug , send them the jug , be sure to remove the gasket off the bottom of the jug or they will charge you more as it can be a time consuming job , they bore the jug to the piston , there are 6 sizes for a 300 , they can do a sleeve but when it gets to that point unless you are going custom it is cheaper to just buy a jug then a sleeve job , but it the jug was obsolete it is a life saving deal , they send you back the piston and rings with all gaskets needed to do the job , takes about 2 weeks , for $20 more they will bead blast the jug or head , they use to charge $155 to do the head , I do that myself
