The battery could be the problem, I would replace it and see. It's hard on your charging system to run an ATV with a bad battery. When you get the new battery installed, check the voltage at the battery with a voltmeter to check the charging system. You should have at least 14-14.5 volts with the engine running.
Loosing Fire
I got a Honda Fourtrax and it will suddenly will lose fire when your ridding it. If you get it into neutral before it dies it will stay running. The battery in it is junk, you have to kick it to start it(not a big deal). I was wondering if a new battery would fix this problem. If not could someone help me out with whats wrong. Thanks. :smile:
