According to the ad, that won't fit the '88 models, just '92-'99. I can't really figure out why it wouldn't fit, but there must be a difference. It also puzzles me why they don't have the 2000 model listed as I'm pretty sure it's the same as the '99. I guess I could be wrong though. Anyway, I would call them and make sure it will fit before ordering.

BTW, SuperATV is a site vendor and I believe you get 10 percent off if you mention that you are a member of the forum.

If it will fit, that would be one of the best mods that you could ever do to the ATV.

From everything I've read, the reason it doesn't list the '88 is because the '88-'92 2wd had a different setup in the front that wouldn't allow it, while the 4wd had the same setup through all the years. So to limit confusion they only listed the 92+. I could be wrong so I'm definitely going to call before I'm ready to order. Keeping my fingers crossed.

And thanks for the info on the discount. I was completely unaware. Makes it even a sweeter deal.

That might be the reason, then, because the front suspension on the 2wd was definitely different in those years.

If your front drums have the two 8mm headed bolts in them holding them to the hub your good to go. Thats what I was told by Extreme ATV.....I believe it is correlating to the 88-91 2wd models being different as stated above

Yeah, that's what I had thought from everything I read but wasn't 100%. Thanks for reassuring. Looks like the ol toy will be getting some some better stopping power soon.

That would be the best upgrade you could do just remember that the mud , sand , and water will take its toll on disk break pads.

i don't know if you have 2 wheel drive.or 4 wheel drive..but..mine is a 4 wheel drive with straight axle on the front..not to mention a knuckle set up for a drive shaft through it..soo..this is probally why they haven't made a after market disk brake for mine...also..most after market places won't bother with a year and model that aren't hardly around..such as the honda 300's..they made and sold alot more of them..than my trx350d foreman..they want to stay with a market for top selling bikes..that..and newer models period.
