OKay guys... I've been looking at ATV's. I see NOTHING different on the 2009 TRX400X than 2007 TRX400EX....... Why are they makingn new ones without any changes? or am i not seeing the changes they made on the spec sheets.

The 400ex has been practically unchanged since it's debut. Other than plastics and they added reverse in 2005. Honda sees no need to try and improve what is already one of the best trail machines of all time.

You have a great point. Which models actually show improvement, etc. I like the 400ex (or x) series as the first 4 wheeler i had was a 1997 300ex. I will just now be purchasing my 2nd four wheeler, LOL.

The 400EX is still a great machine that can compete with the best of them. The 450 is a beast but needs suspension work to hang with the other "race ready" 450s
