I have a 03 400ex, and i have been trying to find the VIn # on it. I have found the Frame/Engine and Carb but not the Vin.
When i put the frame # in it comes back as invalid.
Can someone please point me in the right direction.

TIA

Thank you, But that sticker has only the Yr/location of Mfg:
could there be another location ?

I have the frame number according to the book, but no Vin. In the Pic you can see the frame number on the left...

It should be in one of those locations. The true VIN will be stamped into the frame.

You are distinguishing between the zeros and the letter "O" aren't you? Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. Some other numbers can be confusing too. For example, L and l.

I don't know what the problem could be, but that stamped number on the front on that flat piece that goes between the frame, behind the bumper is definitely the VIN. The VIN number is always stamped into the frame like that.
