Hi. I am new here. I am looking into buying my first Honda..we have a Polaris and I'm not to impressed with it, so I want something different. Anyhow I am looking at buy this Honda and would like some opinions on if it seems it would be a good purchase or not.

**2004 Honda Foreman 450**
-Red and black in color.
-Slide button, optional 2 or 4 wheel drive.
-Completely rebuilt motor in September of 2009. Only ridden twice since then. Rebuild done at Racetrack Power Sports of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. (All paperwork can be provided.)
*Motor work includes : new valves, after market CAM, new CAM shaft chain, clutch kit and new crank.
-Bike has 27" Outlaw Tires with 12" Maxxis Rims.
*Extra's Include :
-3500 lb. winch
-snorkel
-2" lift kit
-HMF exhaust
-K & N air filter
-Throddle assist
-40 - over Big Boar piston kit
-DynoJet kit in carborator

**He was asking 3000.00 for the bike, but said he would take 2500.00. It does need new brakes, and a back left tail light. Opinions on if this would be a good purchase are greatly appreciated!! Thanks**

I just sold a stock 2004 450 for $3000.

In my opinion, the bike itself would be a steal at $2500. You add all the extra stuff on it and it lowers the price, but that is just my own opinion.

Bottom line price is good though and if you really want a modified machine like that I think it's a good price. Resale might be tough though, as modified bikes are harder to sell....at least, you have to find the right niche.

Jump on it. But have it thoroughly checked over first snorkel kits usually mean deep water riding. make sure you check all the connections for corrosion too.

Sounds like you get a new engine out the deal. Just be aware of all the other parts on the bike that may have issuses down the road, from what sounds like some heavy riding. If your into all the "extra" items added to bike sounds like a good deal.

Agreed with all the above, sounds like a lot of deep water riding, they are ATV'S not SUBMARINES!!
