I've never lifted one, because I live in the mountains and don't need one with a higher center of gravity, but I've heard that it is hard on the axles because of the steeper angles on the axles.

yeah..it will give the cv joints a tough time..thats for sure..i've replaced alot of those..and they aren't fun when you have to take one apart..lol.
