I have a 1995 Honda fourtrax 2x4.I want to replace the headlights with LED flush mount.Should I go with spots or floods also what watts would work well.I was thinking 30w would be enough 80w may be to bright. Thanks for any help!

I fitted 18w floods in place of the stock headlamps and added a 180/200w spot light bar above on the carrier. 18w I thought was an equal match with stock bulbs so 30’s would be above stock bulb average.
I would stick with 18w or 30w though, not sure how much power the wiring harness and switch can take can take, my light bar is wired through a relay.
I read when doing a search on this forum that the stock bulb is 45w.If this correct the 30w ones would work with the wire and switch. Now if anyone help me choose spot or flood. Were you happy with the floods.
I am looking at these lights. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B9T3V3N/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza.They have a combo beam.I think they would be safe replacements for the stock lights that are 45w.
Idk about the lights but I used the auxbeam harness–works well.
I haven’t seen a good directional LED setup yet. They are not mounted in a deep enough reflector to be directional so they really blind oncoming riders
Good point ,but there won't be any oncoming riders.I use the ATV for hunting only. The lights I am looking at are 24w each.Would they be bright enough?
