easy fix, but takes time. front drive shaft needs to come out, then with a seal pry tool, pry the old seal out, tap new seal in. you will need to unbolt the front differential, and pull it forward, in order to remove the front drive shaft.
Leaking out of the front diff on 95 fourtrax 300
This weekend my fourtrax developed a leak in the front diff. It appeared that it was liking out of the seal for the drive shaft but I'm not sure. Is this an easy fix? Suggestions?

at that point, you might as well just order a front differential seal kit and pull the differential and replace the side seals as well.
Is this the same 300 with the clicking in the front?

you don't have to pull the differential to change out the side seals ?, you can do this while its in the frameat that point, you might as well just order a front differential seal kit and pull the differential and replace the side seals as well.
. now, if your doing bearings ?, then yeah..lol.

if it does have a leak and it is never low , then something is getting in , to keep the level right , like water , maybe !!!
I tried to change the front diff input shaft without pulling the diff from the frame , and I ain't saying it can't be done , but your chances of messing up the seal doing that way is a lot greater than pulling the diff out
