Hallo zusammen ,ich bin seit 2 Jahren glücklicher Besitzer eines Honda Quads FourTrax .Mit dem Quad habe ich schon viele schöne Stunden in der Natur verbracht und hat mich immer zuverlässig wieder nach Hause gebracht.Vorige Woche war ich wieder unterwegs habe das Quad abgestellt und wollte starten und ruhe war.Blinker,Hupe und Warnblinkanlage funktionieren.Die Seilwinde geht auch.Neben der Batterie befinden sich 2 Glasrohrsicherungen beide sind auch in Ordnung.Was mir auffällt es geht keine Kontrolleuchte Leerlauf ,Öltemperatur und somit auch keine Kontrolle Rückwärtsgang-Ich vermute das bis dahin kein Strom kommt.Der Anlasser geht ja auch nicht.Hat jemand von euch eine Idee wo ich anfangen soll mit suchen.Ich kenne mich wenig mit Schaltplänen aus und müsste jetzt wahrscheinlich ohne eure Hilfe aufgeben.Ich bin jetzt 65 Jahre und möchte schon ganz gerne noch ein bisschen durch die Natur fahren.Im Voraus schon mal danke für eure Hilfe mit besten Grüßen aus Thüringen Udo

Do you have a voltmeter? You should be able to measure the voltage at the battery, at the solenoid, at on either side of each fuse.

If your CDI (number 4 on the schematic from the prior page) is bad, your indicator lights will not light up when you turn the key on. Sometimes the machines will turn over, but have no spark, and sometimes they won't do anything at all, but if the CDI is bad it won't run.

So measure voltage and make sure you are getting voltage to both wires coming and going from each fuse (the fuse might be good and not making a good connection) and if that looks good, you might try tossing the CDI in the oven for about 20 minutes on 200 degrees. Sometimes that will temporarily revive them.

On the 300 I had, the CDI was bad, and when I replaced it I found that the voltage regulator was bad, so the system was overcharging and the excess voltage was what killed the CDI. I replaced both the voltage regulator and the CDI and it ran fine again.
