that was near least 25 years ago, where it was.. on the way to green river camp ground. back then, we went the old way.. go to bardstown, then, springfield, turn right, an i think it was lebanon, after you go through town a bit, turn left, campbillsville, turn left again, takes you to one of the lake campground's. i know i am close in the directions,.. club 68, has been closed for many years. it was kicking in the days.i used to hear commercials on FM, but, maybe also on AM, when i was younger. i was there, for the transition. FM was the best, for a long while, then commercials, worst, top 20, 30, on so on. i dont listen to it no more.
i harped on more than needed, sorry for that. got any drag strips, in your area? people that do this, always know the good machine shops..

There’s a strip in bowling green (Beech Bend Raceway) then one somewhere up in the Louisville area I believe (Ohio Valley Dragway or something like that I reckon)

Green River is definitely a fun place. Ya know since it’s man made and everything, fun fact my grandpa helped make it. Apparently there’s old houses under there.

if you can find the old maps, before it was flooded, it will help, find your fishing spots some. course the lake has changed over many years.
Hass Machine Company was about car-engine type stuff. good people. dont know it they do atv's, thats probably more what ya want.
i needed a gas tank tapped. $20. minimum. i said i can get a tap, for that. the guy says OK, well do it, an you contribute to the lunch fund. i told em ta go for it. i throwed in a ten spot. thats the short of the story.
we did talk for a bit.
