Just thot i would share here what i did :icon_wink:
After looking at a few lifts I decided a spacer in the shock is not the right way to lift something and the other kits look funny. I pick this kit up from R.D.C (abbreviated) I don't know how yo guys feel about company names the HL site mod my last post.
I had the front plastic off for maintenance which made it alot easier I had trouble getting the front top bolt in. I used a ratchet strap with small metal hooks/dring type . I wrap the top of the front shock to the lower A-arm to compress the spring.
Now the Rear was alot easier unhooked the sway bar links top of the shock it pretty much drop most of the way down. Only problem i had was the bracket i made for the warn winch controller I loosened it up and there was just enough room to slide up the rear lift block. then just used a pry bar to pop it in.
MY only concern is the rear sway bar link at full drop it has pressure on it and im afraid to bend/brake it or the A-arm im gonna have to research other peoples mods. or just get some pipe/tube thread it and bend or a flat plate or something. Sitting on the ground level i do have clearance.
