shoul be a black thumb wheel, or plastic knurled knob,on the bottom of carb, where you can turn the knob in counter clockwise to raise the idle. Check the vendors out on this site, or check ebay for a sprocket/chain combo-there are some good deals there for new unused parts

Anywhere in between the upper and lower mark is fine, but the upper mark is the full mark. Lower mark is the add mark.

This is correct, but I believe you turn it clockwise to turn the idle up.

If im not mistaken the front sprocket is 15 teeth and the rear is 38 stock. The best deal ive found on ebay so far is this____

RK CHAIN KIT & SPROCKETS HONDA TRX 400EX 99-04 : eBay Motors (item 230297051826 end time Apr-23-10 10:52:04 PDT)

It is the stock replacement tooth count u can always go down one in the front and i believe that improves torque or just stay stock but RK is a reputable brand and u get the x ring chain with it all under $100 bucks shipped.
I am kinda new to all of this so if any of this is wrong please guys feel free to jump in im still learning about all of this as well. Thanks
