Hi my name is Mike Mussi. I'm just another dad who is helping his son live his dream. And that is to become the next pro XC racer. His name is Michael Mussi Jr. We live in the mountains of WV. We live, breath, eat and sleep atv XC racing.Michael is only 12 but rides a tricked out Honda trx 300ex in the Adult Race.. This is his first year on the 300,having just moved up from the mini class. I knew he was ready for the change because mini's were no fun any more. I just didn't think he would be finishing that high up in the over all's.

Just thought we'd join another forum to make some new friends and try to help some new atv folks to the world that we love.

Thanks for the warm welcome. like were just another atv lover, like most of ya"ll on here.
And 300ex power Michael has only raced a few Nationals this year. The reason is he's only 12 but we did sneak him into a few and he plaqued in his class every time. He runs in the top 3 every National race but some times running the big quad pinned for 2 hours he starts to wear down. He's full speed for the first hour and a half then it does get to him the last half hour. He did finish 81st overall out of 267 riders. And that was his first National and it was a complete mud mess. Every 1 was coming up to him and asking how old he was and where did he learn how to ride like that. He was mad that he didn't win his class but the top 2 were 4 yrs older then him. And in the 2 Outlaw series we race there was only 2 races where the 2nd place rider could stay on the same lap as him.

It just may be possible. He holeshots kids on 450's all the time. It's all in the engine. 35hp out of a little 300ex with 24 ft lbs of torque will impress you with a good rider that is only 115 lbs and will keep it pinned.
