if you do take it to the dealer to have it worked on ?, if you by any chance still have a warranty on it ?, you can kiss it goodbye if you tell them, or they see it was sunk ?!. they will void any warranty if it was sunk !. I know this for a fact.

In case you havent, did you change your gear & brake oils as well?(Maybe i missed it) Could be water in there locking things up a little..Just a thought. & Its an ATV...stuff like that happens.

just gonna touch base on your very last line ^^^, '' its an ATV...stuff like that happens '' well sir, let me see if I can set ya straight ?, ATV does not stand for, or mean RIDE ANY WHERE, EVERY WHERE ?, IT MEANS, ALL TERRIAN VEHICAL, pretty sure this does not include WATER, LAKES, RIVERS, PONDS ?. I can see us trying to cross a short stream ?, or some short mud hole ?, BUT NOT LAKES,RIVERS, PONDS JUST TO SEE IF IT WILL RUN IN THEM ?!. they make things called...BOATS for this..right ?..lol. everyone has their way of fun ?, I get this, but at what cost is this fun...FUN ?!, guess more people than me have deeper pockets, cuz I know I don't ?, so I stay on DRY LAND..LOL.

Lol...yes, i am to the point i like grassy trails in the woods TBH. But hey...anyone who buys an "ATV" will take it places they likely shouldnt :wink:

The machine you need for THAT terrain is an Argo, and if you think an ATV is expensive to maintain wait until you try an Argo !! :sad:

aren't those like 6 wheels or 8 ?, we have those here, talk about cash !..lol. have not seen one in a very long time !.

SHade I agree with you, "THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN"
well, only when you put them in harms ways
have owned and rode a LOT of ATV's and off road toys and have YET to sink one, that got water in its motor! in 35 yrs or so

BUT I did once jump a MX bike into a lake on a dare, sort of expected to SINK that one, and I did, it sank like a rock
I had about 50 bucks into it, and didn;t care , and I did tear it all all down and rebuild it, and sold it a yr later for a couple hundred bucks>? LOL

Sorry to teh OP< But I personally think, all THINGS LIKE THIS can be prevented without much effort, BUT??
as they say, LIVE and LEARN, and we all have done something dumb or a LOT of dumb things, over the yrs if we looked back I am sure

yep, when things '' HAPPEN '' ?...IT'S BECAUSE YOU FORCED IT TOO HAPPEN !..LOL. i'm almost sure, those lakes, ponds, rivers..just don't jump out from where they sit ? and FIND THIER WAY UNDER YOUR ATV TIRES HUH ?..LOL. but..like I said, everyone has their idea of fun ?, mine is not tossing unneeded money at my atv because I thought for a min it was UNSINKABLE !..LOL. and yes..even I, has done stupid stuff in my 52 years ?, but I've learned a lot from those stupid times ?..DON'T KEEP DOING IT !..LMFAO.
