i was having problems with backfiring when letting off the throttle.i went from a 95 to a 100 main and when i went from the 42 slow jet to a 45 it wont start unless i give it gas and it dies if you dont keep giving it gas.it doesnt backfire now though?

no not in neutral only fifth topped out then letting off.i ended up changing my slow jet back to the 42 and the main i upped to the 105 with my airlid off.starts right up idles fine now and doesnt backfire so i think i got it.

Yep sounds like you got it. I was going to say that if it didn't do it in neutral it was probably an air issue
