My 1996 Fourtrax 300fw has the following mods:
Highlifter heavy duty springs
2” Highlifter lift kit
Headlights replaced with 5” led lights
3000 pound Warn winch
Hand warmers
50” moose steel plow
Front fender has been sprayed with Line-x bed liner spray

Since this photo has been taken the whole atv has been sprayed with Line-x and the seat cover has been replaced.

3 300's .... I am going to need a parts break down one each one !!!
my 88 fourtrax was a chance buy it's bare bones but I picked it up not running did some minor work and I have a 100% running Honda (classic) for about 500 bucks counting purchase and parts.
For $500 , you have a very nice bike and 88 was the first year , like you say classic

3 300's .... I am going to need a parts break down one each one !!!
new black OEM seat ( replacing the original grey)
just scored an OEM kickstart cover panel
Warn winch of course
front wheel spacers
upgraded exhaust (and for the life of me I can't remember the brand but sounds purty!)
fresh tires and battery of course
and as was recently pointed out - 1996 newer mud skirts - and I like the looks of the newer humpy skirts
Kolpin gun boot with quick remove mount
truck bed paint on the racks (yes I presanded and primed so this stuff should last a bit longer)
6ish hours of wet sand and buffer work on the body to freshen up
other than that..just riding the heck out of it...really enjoy the smaller machine for trail fun

LOL...2002 EZGo TXT lift kit, 450amp controller upgrade, and the yellow/black scheme inspired the real trick-out which was this past halloween (campground big event) I used an old boat spot light remote unit, mounted an adult size BumbleBee helmit on the top..added LED lights for the eyes, cutout arms etc on the side panels...as we'd tour through the campground, little kids would point and say "BumbleBee!!" then I'd turn the head and have it look at them..they'd absolutely freeze...fun stuff. picture atttached..sorry..I'm fouling up the voting thread.
