Can anybody tell me why my 2014 Honda rancher 420 fuel injection is backfiring when you turn it over and smoking heavily out of the air box also when it finally does fire up after turning it over for abt 5 minutes oil dumps out of the air filter and into the air box

I can't tell you why but I can tell you two important things to check...!

Timing & compression test

What should the compression tester read on the gauge
Consult the factory service manual, it's available here on this forum.
I'm not sure of exact figures.

i also have a 2010 Honda 420 4x4 does anyone know why my water that’s in my radiator is going into my motor causing my motor to hydro lock and make my oil milky and my temp light comes on while riding I have installed new head new head gasket and new thermostat and still not working

Head, head gasket, cracked head...

Did you get the head and motor casings 'skimmed & decked' (machined flat) before fitting?

does this atv sit often?

how old is your fuel? ethanol fuel can go bad pretty fats and cause all sorts of issue's
SO, might want to drain tank and make sure no water is in tank and fuel is GOOD and fresh
