ok, i use to race dirt bikes and races almost every where in louisiana. i had races a 2000 rm 125. i sold it and got a 400ex. had the 400ex for about 4 months and the valves got bent and sold it and bought a 300ex (it what i got now) i am tradeing a guy for a dirt bike that is a 1995 rm125 it has a hot rod crank, bored to 140cc, reed vavles and high comp piston,,,and a whole lot of other stuff....is this a good trade??? HELP!!!

If the bikes in good condition with a semi fresh rebuid yes.

I can only put it to you like this..."2-strokes are like bottle rockets..when you light them off sooner or later it's going to blow-up" you have to really run the piss out of them they do not like putzing around the trails you have to constantly keep revving them to keep the plug from fouling. but if you want it I'd say go for it. I'm personallyt a 4-stroke guy myself and 4 wheels..lol

That bike is worth about 1000 bucks if its in great condition, I bought a really nice 99 yz250 in almost mint conditon for 1200 on craigslist. They are a ton of fun but like they said above you better be ready to ride it cause 2 strokes are either on or off, there is no mid ranged putting around. I would say search craigslist for a newer bike but thats just me
