Lift kit nice wheels and tires maybe not engine wise but you can make it look nice... but I understand the only thing bad about a 2-stroke is that putzing around trails isn't good for them they like to be ran wide open.

I rode 2 strokes dirt bikes on trails for many years. You can go slow with no problem, you just have to keep the RPMs up at all times. You need to burn all the oil and gas that enter the cylinder or you will have build up on the spark plug resulting in a fouled plug.

True that's why you constantly hear someone reving them up in the woods but I still would prefer a 4 stroke..

Oh absolutely, 4 strokes are much more rider friendly. 2 stroke take a lot of clutch work, I think growing up on 2 strokes made me a better rider on the 4 stroke machines.

it is a good deal but if u talking about rideing on a track then yea keep it but it u talking trails then u should fix and then sell cause u gotta run 2 strokes hard and it u ride slow then u will be changeing plug back to back but if u fix it then u can get 1500$ for it depending on what it looks like and year

I had an xr 200. Good trail bike. Not that fast. Horrible on jumps, lol.

Be careful on some of those 80's cr125's. They are one off years meaning no parts will interchange. I have an 83 that I'm getting ready to part out. Parts will only fit a 83.
