is this a 07 420???

ok... I am looking at a 07 rancher 420 4x4 ... at least I thought I was. this is my first bike to purchase.. this bike looks like it has the 400 motor cover.. it don't look like the 420s do.. I don't think its an at though bc it has the electric shifter on the handle bar.. did they make 400s that wasn't at? I'm just trying to figure out what this bike is... it doesn't have a sticker that says at... I uploaded a photo of the bike

It's a 2004 to 2007 Honda Rancher AT. Also known as a Rancher 400. Also known as a TRX400FA or TRX400FGA if it has GPS. It's a 398cc air cooled, carb'd ATV.

The 420's all are 420cc, EFI, and liquid cooled. Have him show you a picture of the engine and carb and then say "gotcha".

It's definitely NOT a Rubicon for many reasons.

And just cause it has the up/down on the left side doesn't make it not an AT. It is an AT because all the AT's can be switched to manual mode and then use the buttons.

Agreed, but I focused on the 420 cause that's what the guy was focusing on. Didn't care to get into the details of that gen Rubicon.

Doesn't matter though if this is another join and post in a panic and never hear from again thread...
