I need a new battery. The Yuasa 14 BS that I have is 4 years old and won’t hold a charge anymore. There is a Yuasa 20 with 330 cca’s and the old one has 200. Is more cranking amps better?

Thanks. I've never heard of that company. I'll give them a shot. Here's the link for my 450ES replacement.

The Yuasa 20 is a bigger battery and will not fit in the stock location. The Yuasa 14 is no longer made in the USA and is no better than the cheap Amazon or eBay batteries. The Yuasa GYZ16H is the same size as he YTX14-BS but has higher cranking amps and is made in USA.

I just put a new Yuasa GYZ16H in my 2015 Rubicon. The original was 7 years old and still working fine but I'm not taking a chance where we ride. I keep it on a good brand of maintainer and all mine have lasted at least 7 years. My winch gets a lot of use plowing and we live in a cold climate. So yes, more CCA is better.
