Have a 2016 Rubicon with IRS, with the different aftermarket lift kits out there is there any cons with installing one with the IRS? Any issues I should know about and any recommendations with pics be great!
main problem with IRS and lifts ?, is lifts tend to make it easier for the rear drive cv joint axles to pull from the rear differential, this is all I am aware of ?.
No real cons if you stay under 2" although it will be slightly more unstable. I opted to keep mine stock height since it fit 30" tires with no lift. I think the least amount of lift and biggest tires that fit is the way to go
the lift would just make it more top heavy/tippy IMO and only add steeper angles to all CV/U joints,
and NOT needed unless your going super tall on tires
so more con's than pro's to one
