My nephew and his wife live on the east coast of Florida, I asked my sister what they were going to do. Her son told her they had some friends on the west coast and that if they are going to get hit as well they will head north so they are just waiting to see what the projections are but either way they are packing and taking their most expensive and valuable things with them.
Based on what I'm seeing on the Hurricane tracker:shocked: the whole pan handle is going to get slammed and this could make Katrina pale in comparison.

Very scary for those people, can't even comprehend it myself. My brother teaches at a small private christian school, when Katrina hit, he and two other teachers took a group of kids from the junior and senior classes down to help out in the aftermath he said he had never seen anything like it. They spent 10 days there gutting houses, taping freezers and refrigerators, etc. God be with all those in Florida and on the east coast.
Kind of makes all of this tearing down monuments and political garbage show everyone(hopefully) the foolishness if their agendas.
A reporter even made comment on that this last Sunday morning on the CBS "Sunday Morning" program. Showing videos of people rescuing people in Houston. A bunch of locals forming human chains to save people from vehicles being washed away, all from different ethnicities working toward the good of that individual they were helping. All thoughts of the what's going on in our country forgotten and focusing on the more important issue, remove one person out of that link and failure occurs. I think God is continuing to give us, as a nation, chance after chance to wake up and get our act together, and to stop the petty insignificant bickering. Because right now your not hearing about to many monuments that need to come down.
Sorry, that soapbox kind off sneaked up on me and I didn't realize I was on top of it until I wrote this.
Will pray that officials will get folks out before it hits, and also for those in Houston dealing with their aftermath. FF
