Intro and Thanks

Recently acquired a 2007 Rancher 420. It has high miles, which I didn’t realize at first since I did not know these have hour meters/odo.

My machine is fairly clean, no mods, no cracked plastics, etc. But it smoked like crazy and needs 4 th gear.
I have already researched the forum, got the manual from here and a good idea of what parts to replace from members! Also the 4 part video explains the engine dis/assembly very well.

I generally wrench on Jeeps, have rebuilt my sons Chinese 125, and like to fix things rather than buy new. No I am not cheap, but hate people who don’t take care of stuff.
