I'm new to this forum. Every now and then when I turn the key on, nothing happens. The red and green lights don't light up. There's no juice whatsoever. I checked all the fuses and connections but every thing seemed to be o.k.. But all of a sudden the lights come on and it can be started. Where should I look. Neutral switch? I don't have a clue. Anybody out there???

Welcome to the forums. When the neutral and oil lights don't light up, will the headlights work if you turn them on? Check the red wire that runs from the hot post of the solenoid through the fuse to the keyswitch. You can use a test light to check, but you should have power on the red wire at the keyswitch. Most likely, the problem is either in that red wire or in the keyswitch, itself.

Thanks for the info. It happears that the glass fuse connections were very loose. Sinced the problem did'nt re occur, I'm pretty sure that's where the problem was. Thanks again

Yep, I've had that problem with them. When you put the fuse in, if you're not careful when you close the fuse holder, the wires will pull loose from the fuse.

Thanks for the quick reply. I could'nt find any loose connections. Where should I look for the main ground connection? On the wiring diagram, it does not show its location.
The main ground bolts to one of the starter mounting bolts, unless someone has had it off and didn't bolt it back in the correct place.
