Hi m name is Adam p I live in ky I took my 2005 honda400ex valve cover off to change the gasket found out had to change the head gasket I think I put the wrong size in the one that came out of it was thicker then the other one can that be a problem why my quad won't start

welcome to the site, others will add more here, I am not a sport atv guy
but if you had a full on correct top end kit, you should have gotten all correct parts
unless the bike was NOT stock when you ordered parts based on it having been stock?
