Can anyone suggest any ideas to how to re route the ignition reverse/neutral light. After installing the pro taper se bars that I just ordered there will be no room for these things on my 400 ex. What are any ideas anyone has to how I can place them somewhere else on my bike?

why don't you have room ?..did it lower the bars closer to the steem keeper ?..if this is the case..try getting or making some spacers to raise the bars enough to put them back where they go.

No there is the cross bar that will be in the way. The ignition plate use to rest in the middle of bars where there was no crossbar and pad with oem bars

hmmm..well..i would try to fab some plexiglass ( easy to drill ).shape it so it looks factory..drill out the holes for your lights and such..mount it where the old factory plate went..face it towards the gas tank..you may want to make it where it is high enough off the center..so it won't hit your tank plastic...then just paint it to match your bike...or try to get as close as you can to the color..this is what i would do.
