I have a vance and hines pipe, and the needle in the carb. is at the top....my plug is perfect and good spark, and now its bogging every shift, but has full power after the bog!and the air filter is good and running with airbox lid off...any suggestions?and what should the air/fuel screw be at??thanx!

I would say move the needle to the 3rd clip position (factory) if the engine is stock I would look at the main jet stock is 128 main and 38 slow. With the pipe I would try a 132 main turn the air screw in to the lightly seated position and back it out 2 1/2 turns and reset the Idle. if it won't Idle i would say it's either too lean or the slow jet is clogged.

Water would make it run like crap thats for sure. also one thing alot of people forget to do.... on the bottom of the petcock is anothe bowl nut, turn off the fuel then remove the nut and see what kind of goodies are floating around in there. head to the autoparts store and buy a bottle of HEET that will get rid of any water in your system.
