Well crap. I bought another 400ex. 1999. It runs good but it needs a little work. Valves adjusted. Tune up etc
Ok stick with me here. One of my buddies offered me it for $500 and he gets my other 400ex that I was going to do a complete rebuild on. This one is literally identical. I told him that I get to take my new handle bars off, the nerf bars, and the skid plates. He said fine. He was looking for a whole new wiring harness and the frame, I guess his is rusted out or broken I didn't ask. Also I got to keep both sets of plastics. He didn't need them. He also offered me a used 300ex starter and a can of 110 VP Racing fuel if I go deliver the Quad to him next week.
All in all I'm glad we could help each other out. I knew my 400ex rebuild was going to take way too long. Once I get out of college I will be able to dedicate more of my time to a project that big.
So now I am considering getting this one running good and selling it to buy the Foreman or a Rancher that I am searching for. I am also selling my 2006 300ex to one of my brothers.
My fleet is disappearing. I eventually want to only have my Gray 416cc and Hopefully a Foreman. I like having alot of bikes but its too much work for me to keep up with. I would rather have my family and friends having fun with them. Rather than have them sit in a carport doing nothing. Sorry to ramble on lol
