I need some solid advice

At 70 years old I've come to the conclusion my co-ordination is not what it used to be. Me and my lil 300 need all the help we can get. I think a set of spacers on the rear wheels "may" offer me better stability. Getting a moose out to my truck last year the rear of the 300 felt like a little more width would help. What do you guys think? If yes, what thickness?

First, I applaud you and hope to be out pushing the limits on ATV at 70!! I have no idea of the topography, but I would consider something like a sled to pull behind and take the Moose out in trips the unit can easily pull/handle. Putting weight, especially that which may exceed the limits sets you up for various challenges with top center problems, front end popping up, etc.
