I need some solid advice
At 70 years old I've come to the conclusion my co-ordination is not what it used to be. Me and my lil 300 need all the help we can get. I think a set of spacers on the rear wheels "may" offer me better stability. Getting a moose out to my truck last year the rear of the 300 felt like a little more width would help. What do you guys think? If yes, what thickness?

That's not my rear end , was just getting some ideas from a guy I know that built it , I had a chance to buy that bike when he sold it

Tire clearance / coverage depends on your tires and rims , are you running 10 wide in the rear and 8 in the front ? or maybe 12 rear /10 front ???? , I don't think you have any thing to worry on clearance , coverage will be close with 12's and 2 inch spacers -----place a 2x4 across the rim/tire , it would be 1 5/8 and give you an idea where the tire will be with 1 1/2 inch spacers and how they will sit under the fender flares
