Yesterday I sold my old 250x for $650 and today I bought a diffrent 250x for $600 man did i get a deal. The new one is in alot better shape and it came with some performance parts like a fresh topend, fly bars,ac nerf bars,pro trapp exhaust,new aluminum rims (one has a dent tho), maier race fenders. The guy said it hadn't ran in two years and needed a carb kit because he could'nt get it to run so I bought it, tore down the carb and found that two screws came out of the plunger that connected it to the throttle lever every thing else was in perfect shape so I cleaned it and put it back in and it fired right up. The only things it needs are a seat cover and gas tank(rusted) which I just orded off of ebay the gas was $50 and the cover was $32. I will post more pics as soon as I get them installed.:icon_ rocker:

Sounds like you got a good deal. You might want to put a little locktite on those two screws, so they don't come out again.

Yea it is a night and day difference for power I can just burp the throttle in second and it will wheelie. I want to quit school so I can just do nothing but work on it and ride...lol I wish!!!!!
