I second the nice buck there, good for you
been a very slow hunting season here, help out at a friends butcher shop, opening days in the past was NOTHING to see 50+ deer show up, this opening day, 3 came in,and very small one's at that!
and not many more so far this week, calling for more rain on Saturday(rained opening day thus why bad turn out we have more hunters today that ONLY hunt when its nice out as to your back, bunch of sissy's anymore LOL)
so doubt a lot of deer will be killed this yr if it keeps raining on the prime days most get out!
should be a great yr next yr for larger bucks here LOL

I've had a great year. Shot a doe, fawn (didn't know it was) & a cinnamon bear which is at taxidermist now. The ole 300 hauled all three back to camp!!!!!!

Shot this one with the camera in the back yard one night. It is a bear carrying a deer. Sorry it is grainy, it was dark. We had 5 or 6 bears that night, plus the smaller stuff. Just to be clear, the bear did the hunting, not me.

How long do your seasons go for. Our state just canned seasons for 3 years its a free for all now still need a license though and can spotlight them on private property

here in the USA every state has different rules and seasons, and even in same states, there can be BIG differences in season dates and how long they run and how many things you can kill
some states rule books are HUGE and a lot of fine details that you MUST comply with or risk getting a fine or worse.

here in PA< we have a a bunch of different deer seasons and pending what part of the sate, depends on how long each is
some parts can have a 3 month almost long season, some its just a few days

we have different seasons for different types of weapons too, from a archery season, to a flintlock season to a rifle season, and all have there own dates and rules, some can over lap, some you can use more than one type of weapon in it , its tricky at times and can change rules from yr to yr
have to be careful or again, can get into trouble
and you have to pay for a lic and many time a special lic for each season, (like archery, muzzleloarer /flintloc(2 different seasons ) you have to buy a special lic for WHAT weapon and season you wish to use, and then you have to buy a special tag for Antler less deer over antlered one's and, then a bear lic if you wish to hunt bears and or turkeys, they sell a special second tag if you want to shoot two, and Pheasants, have a special tag now
its crazy some of the rules to me, and how far they can vary from one state to another
also have resident and NON resident rules and lic's, ion case you want to hunt a state other than the one you reside in!
lots of rules here in the USA on hunting LOL
