first...did you get the nut off ??..second..like helmut said..with a sharp blow or two..or three..lol..the centrifugal clutch will come off..it's just pressed on..some of them can be a pain to remove...but..if you talk to it just right ( smacking the crap out of it works wonders )..lmfao..it will come off.
i got news for ya'll..those clutch pullers won't work on the centrifugal clutches..it takes a two-jaw type of puller the pull this clutch off the crank..it does not have internal threads..it takes a puller that has jaws that go on the outside of the clutch housing..and uses a long threaded bolt to push on the end of the crank..those pic's that ya'll linked will not work on the centrifugal clutch housing..not from what i've worked on anyway.

Yes, that puller will work, Shadetree. The clutch has fine threads on the outside of the hub where the shaft comes through. The yellow arrow, in the picture below, points to where the threads are. I just went out to my garage and looked at one that came off a Fourtrax 300 to make sure.

well..i can't say about the crank not having threads..it may have..i don't have one sitting in front of me right now..question is..does the clutch have threads on it ??..if not..what is that puller gonna grab onto ?..i know i'm old an all..butttt..the last time i looked at a centrifugal clutch housing..it did not have internal..or exteranl threads to screw anything onto..soo.unless i'm mistakin ( happends all the time.lol )..i still don't see what or how that puller is gonna grab onto the clutch ?..edit: nm..i looked it up in some of my manuals..and sure enough.there is threads on the centrfugal clutch..i stand corrected..what else is new !..lol.

and the puller that my rancher calls for..( which i didn't use..hammer worked )..is honda part number 07933-hb3000a..but..i'm sure this changes from atv to atv..go figure !..lol.
i never paid it any attention..seeing how i always just smack it with a hammer to remove them..oh well..hammer is cheaper anyway..lol.
