How good is the 97 TRX300 tranny?

Hey guys,
Bought my first ever four wheeler a few months ago. It's a 97' TRX300 Fourtrax. It was a one owner. Always well maintained. Not a scratch on it except a dent in the top of the tank where a lawn chair fell on it. He never had it in the mud. Used it to give the grand kids rides around the yard. I have a moderately hilly 2 acre yard and hope to be able to use it for pulling carts, sprayers, rollers etc. Will this tranny hold up???

Thanks

You should be good to go. Is it a 4x4?

The fourtrax 89-2000 are said to the best quad ever made, past or present.
I think you might be right, and I think the actual "fourtrax" model is only 4x4, but I've seen other bikes listed as fourtrax that are only 2x4, so I guess it's force of habit to ask.

Anyway, you have a good machine. Post a picture.

ADDED: No, there are 2wd Fourtrax. Does seem sort of strange to call it that, but whatever.
