Hey guys,
Bought my first ever four wheeler a few months ago. It's a 97' TRX300 Fourtrax. It was a one owner. Always well maintained. Not a scratch on it except a dent in the top of the tank where a lawn chair fell on it. He never had it in the mud. Used it to give the grand kids rides around the yard. I have a moderately hilly 2 acre yard and hope to be able to use it for pulling carts, sprayers, rollers etc. Will this tranny hold up???

Thanks

You should be good to go. Is it a 4x4?

The fourtrax 89-2000 are said to the best quad ever made, past or present.

Yes it's 4x4. Sorry, I thought that's what "Fourtrax" meant. Thanks for the post.

I would imagine you will be fine doing work around the yard and such. I wouldn't pull anything that puts a big, noticable strain on the machine. I think you will be fine.
