Hey guys;

Looked at a 420 Saturday with power steering.
Not reallly impressed. At an idle sitting on grass with one hand it was quite difficult to move the bars.

Is this normal???

Other brands turn very easily. :eek:hmy:

My wife needs an ATV that takes little effort to turn the wheels at an idle from a dead stop.

What's up???:huh:

thnx....................

Can't speak for other brands, but I've had a foreman with and without EPS, and it really just smooths out the steering, reduces or eliminates kickback, and while it's not like a car it does make it easier to turn the wheels, but not really at a stop. When you are moving a little bit it will be different.

I love it and won't have another machine without it, but you just have to find the brand that works best for your expectations.

Love the power steering, don't feel the bumps and holes as much, great for making tight turns when moving slow, just don't get as tired after long rides, won't own another one without PS.

I agree with the above posters. Sometimes when you first turn on the ATV the power steering wont kick in right away. If you move forward an inch or two then try to turn it would probably be easier. For the most part though it aids in stopping the handlebars from jerking if you hit something. It will also disengage at higher speeds as it is not really needed.
