Y’all won’t believe me when I say this, I have owned 6 300 Honda’s in this year alone and never have managed to ride or even start one due to problems that’s apparently over my head. I have 1 left and want to keep it but can’t get it to run after I swapped a diff motor in it, the previous motor ran but smoked like a jet

Welcome!
Wow you had quite a run at them TRX300–don’t give up. These are relatively simple machines but they have very specific needs—most parts will interchange but not all will work!!
Check my links below you need to locate two manuals 88-94 and 95-00. You have to know VIN or engine number to get a good start

I have the engine number off both the motor I took out and also off the motor I put back in it, the motors are the same size however they are made different slightly

Seems to be a formatting issue with his single quotes. The symbols appear every time an apostrophe should be there. (Ex: Ya'll, won't, Honda's, that's, can't)

Can't tell you why though! No clue why it happend :smile

It has to do with his keyboard language settings.
