LOL. Yeah, I guess that would work. I have a habit of making my own tools, too, but I never thought of that.

that is a clever idea.
i just use some needle nose pliers and make sure im careful to not mar them up.

I also used needle nosed pliers--but I am sure going to make up the screw tool. And by the way, that square holed screw head is called a Robertson, named after the Canadian who invented it after becoming so frustrated by the American invented Philips screw head..

When I used to build sport fishing yachts the Robertson screws were all that we used, they didn't round out as easily as phillips when you are running them down into fiberglass.

Those Robertson screws work real good as long as the bit is the right size and fits real tight.
