So I snorkeled my 95 Honda FourTrax fw. I did all my vent lines. My diffs, my transfer case, my carb, crank case , and my overflow I plugged off with some vent line with a bolt in it. There is no problem running under water but it’s letting water in. I sealed up my stator wire grommet. I was thinking it was letting some in there. There is a new crank case vent hose and I also got a new o ring for my dipstick. I’m running out of ideas on where the water could be getting in. My snorkel is holding just fine and my air box is always dry and my breather for the crankcase is high and dry. Do you think valve cover gaskets would let water in? They seem to leak a small amount of oil and they are probably the originals. I might be thinking that because it only seems to let some water in once I get the top of the engine submerged. I am not sure. I’m probably going to change them anyway but I’d like to know some opinions. Thanks

there are so many places water can get in , some you did not mention , seals on the kick starter and foot shifter , o-ring on the clutch adjuster , the mid-drive shaft seal at the rear output side , the rubber boot at the cam end on the head ------- I have seen the seal go out on the rear drive shaft that is inside the swing arm boot , the boot leaked and the water was getting in from there ----
