[Honda Trx250Ex]

Hello, i have a honda trx250ex and i cant get it to start. It will turn over all day long but wont start. I have replaced the spark plug, ignition coil, and put in a new carb. I have came to the conclusion that it has to be something about spark but i dont know where to start. I have also changed the main fuse. If anyone knows or has any ideas please let me know. Thanks

carb oem ?, or some stupid china knock-off from ebay or amazon ?. if spark plug isn't firing , then you need to locate the c.d.i., and maybe replace it with a known good working c.d.i. thats oem from honda !. there is no way to bench test c.d.i's. run a test on the stator, pulse generator as well. kill switch clean ?, in the middle ?. neutral light showing on dash ?. if no neutral light ?, it wont' fire the spark plug !.

Thanks for the suggestions but im not good with bikes so could you maybe help me locate the cdi or a general place to look. And the carb was to my knowledge OEM

Also the ignition and everything was ripped out before i purchased it so i turned it off with the kill switch and left it in gear so the neutral light would stay on....this is a little inconvenient right now with trying to work on it

Can anyone tell from the picture if the frame is bent? I replaced lower A Arm and it didn't help. The tire is still leaning outward.

Also the machine sits lower on the left side than the right.

you need to get everything back to oem before you go at it blind. avoid all china parts !!!!.

Hey i have an update on my bike. Im getting spark and im almost positive im getting fuel. My dad was helping me through all of this. I used starter fluid and shot in in my carb while i was trying to turn it over. It still would not start. I dont know what to do now and neither does my dad. Any other ideas

if it won't fire off starting fluid ?, then the timing is off ?, or not enough compression ?.

OK i will look at that tomorrow. I am gonna look up how to find my timing belt.

Is it making a clicking sound when it is turning over? I have a problem with my trx250ex blowing the starter solenoids. Dealing with that again as we speak. If it is making the noise and will only turn over, you might wanna check there. It is much easier to find and replace than all the other wiring.
