do you have your airbox sealed with silicone? And running water over connections will not get everything wet like a submerging will. water has to flow with gravity.

i would say you got a air leak somewhere..although i don't know crap about fuel injected carbs..other than they suck !!..did you also check the drain plug on the bottom of your air box ?..is it still on ?

yea spark plug don't get wet intill my atv cuts off in water and the exhaust is under which takes in massive amounts of water...
you need to check your oil for water in it..if you stalled in water that was over your ex..i bet your oil is full of water.

i had a local honda mechanic put it on. and hes worked on quads for 12 years now.
i've worked on atv's for 14 yrs..and i still learn stuff every day...i don't think the mechanic covered something right ?..or not at all ?..water is getting to something..causing it to shut down. more than likely..it's probally getting to some wires shorting your ride out..you may want this mechanic to look at this for you.

I don't think there's any kind of drain or vent hose on the throttle body, but make sure the clamps that hold the throttle body on are tight.
