Hi i need no wats the matter with my wheeler. I just got it an it run good started really easy I was going down the road pretty fast my brakes r bad and I wanted to stop real quick so I downshifted and it quite on me right there it's got good spark good compression so I don't know what the problem

I moved this thread to the Repair/Maintenance forum @Mento.

The 1st thing I would check is the cam chain condition and camshaft timing... perhaps the cam jumped time a tooth when you downshifted. The combination of high RPM centrifugal force on the chain and instant rotational shock on the crankshaft the moment you downshifted may have allowed the small diameter crank sprocket to skip over a chain link or two.
