I was looking at getting a tube clamp mount for my rancher 420 to hold up my new light bar. I measured the tube width and it was like 7/8s of an inch and then i measured it all the way around and it was 2.5 inches... i just need to know what diameter mount i need and i believe its right in front of me but i am not getting it. The reason why i am asking this is cause the smallest name brand mount was 1inch diameter not 7/8s. So does anyone know the front rack tube diameter on a 07 420?

I don't know... but if you measured 7/8" diameter, handlebar clamps should work nicely. You can find them on the fLeebay and amazon sold in pairs cheaply. Some are listed as mirror mounts, others as accessory mounts, etc.

Most of Honda's rack have 7/8 tubing on the bigger tubes , another way t mount you light is a cb antenna mount , it is like a piece of angle iron with u-bolts or a plate with bolts , it will fit multiple size pipe

there are many places to get mount hard wear. not just for atvs.. if ya run into a problem, re-post in this thread.

There are many ways to mount a light , a flat bar or tubing with u-bolts holding it to the rack then mount the light on the bar
