Welcome to the forums. On the 420 Rancher, the ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor is located right beside the sparkplug.Where is the temp sensor to make the fan go on?
You're welcome, glad to help. Thanks A LOT Helmut! I am new to the site... seems like you are full of knowledge! Really appreciate it (and the hubby does, too)!
I noticed in another thread you were asking about an '05 Rancher. If it's a 350 Rancher, the sensor that turns the fan on and off won't be located beside the sparkplug. The picture below will show you where it's located. Also, it won't be called an ECT sensor on the 350 Rancher, it will be called the oil thermosensor. Thanks A LOT Helmut!
