Will the fenders from a 2014-2017 fit the 07-13 Honda rancher 420s I've been online comparing the frames they look the same but could be longer or shorter I'm in the market for new plastics and from what I see the new models plastics are cheaper also how would the gas tank work being I know they moved the filler neck do you even think it's possible

The 14-up Ranchers are on a different frame. You could probably make them work, but it's going to require fab work, and probably lots of it.

You'd be better off just buying the proper fenders. They're better looking anyway.
