I have a 05 rancher 400A/T and am having some issues. I have power to the display, and lights but I can’t get it to electric start. I put a new solenoid on it but still nothing. I checked the shift position sensor and it doesn’t look like anything is wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

can ya jump the solenoid, to see if it turns over. even the old one. have you checked you kill switches. that has got me more times than i will admit.
if it will pull start, also raises questions. that were not mentioned. i have to admit i dont know the 05, i do know common problems..
my old horse will not neck rein. Oops, wrong forum... :smile

You have it in N? What about in F & pull the front brake on? Few things that could be hampering power to it, if its a good starter.
