Hi just wondering if anyone could give me info on what model and year my honda big red quad is. Ive got the serial code number from the front of the frame.

Does it have a label on the left hand frame downtube?

At the base of the engine cylinder how many "cm" is given?

If I remember correctly its the tenth digit or letter that tells you the year of the machine. See the attached image... which makes it a 1995? Is it a TRX300? 2WD or 4WD?

Yes its 1995, think i can make out trx something 1995. It is a 2WD. Im using my mobile so wont let me upload a photo. So Mac102004 is that what my model is ? Honda1995 TRX 300FW? Cheers

Can you use parts from later models? I used to have a honda xr650r and could use some parts from likes of the Honda CR250. And also can you fit newer pkastics from later models? What is good websites for parts ? Thanks again

Sorry, TE14 IS 2wd, my list was wrong. TE15 is 4wd. So your model would be just TRX300 not TRX300FW.

Good sources for parts would be 'superATV' & 'partzilla' I beleive. For motor parts (if you ever need them) your best off opting for OEM or brand names. NEVER buy Chinese junk, off the price seems cheap and to good to be true, it usually is!
