hey i've already snorkeled my rancher 420, but for some reason when i hit the water it shuts down. At first I thought it was because I'm a shitty rider. So I stand it up and it still shuts down, and i have to pull the spark plug and get the water of the motor. There is no water in the air box though. any tips would be great it cuts off right when it hits to this point

Check the wiring you may need to add some dialectic grease to the connectors.

The water is probably coming in through the exhaust when it stalls if that helps. I have a 09 Rancher and not experienced this problem (yet). Maybe try a water hose while its running to try to find what is causing it to shut off.

Welcome make sure the the snorkel set up is completely sealed up and also put some dialectic grease on some open connections good luck.

u may need to check th spark plug cap. i had the same problem on my 300 but with a lil silicone around it ive not had another problem yet!
